JDC Pakistan will celebrates Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) 

Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrated with all of its endearment all over Pakistan. Karachi always have a supremacy of all events occurring all over the country. Therefore Eid Milad-un Nabi (PBUH) is celebrated with same jubilation as other holly occasions.

On 11st of Rabi-ul-Awal, country celebrates the eve of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) starting from midnight to 12th Rabi-ul-Awal night. Countrywide people organize the Milads’, vigils and competitions which are on the basis of decoration of their areas.

Without Exception JDC organizes central vigil program that is also a greater symbol of religious harmony in largest city of Pakistan. It’s now a tradition to be part of program where people use to support the harmony between inter-religious and inter-sectarian people.

A program totally represents the vision of Pakistan’s founder; unity, faith and discipline.

JDC Foundation Pakistan is working as an independent, non-governmental, non-profit and charitable organization. It works under its own Memorandum of Articles of Association and leadership. It has no affiliation with any regional ethnic or political organization of Pakistan or anywhere in the world.

Its ambulance service, free food for public at Dastar Khwan Imam Hasan (PBUH) and also organize the Sehar & Aftar. These are some visible examples of their services.

Notably, Muslims offer special prayers for upholding and flourishing of Islam, pray for unity, solidarity, progress and welfare of the Muslim ummah.

Factually, the Sunni (Bralevis’) of Pakistan celebrate the anniversary on 12th of Rabi-ul-Awal while Shiites’ people mark celebrations on 17th of Rabi-ul-Awal. Due to that reason, Shia Muslims observe Islamic unity week under weeklong Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations.

However, Shia Muslims also celebrates the birthday eve of both, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Imam Jaffar-al Sadiq (PBUH) on 17th of Rabi-ul-Awal.
